8^th Annual Faith Promise Missions Conference

Scheduled for October 10-14, 2007

Southside Baptist Church is hosting a missions conference from October 10-14, 2007 to highlight the work of missionaries who are taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to the citizens of Mexico, Canada, and Africa. Titled “To Our Neighbors and Beyond:  North, South East, West…God is Never at Rest!,” this conference will feature three missionaries and their families who will share their experiences of how God has touched the lives of many people through their work both in the United States and abroad. Our featured missionaries are: Larry & Jackie Owens – Sierra Leone, Africa; Wayne & Keri Seavolt Family – Ontario, Canada; David & Crystal Houghton – Mexico; and Dr. Leland Kennedy – Missionary Ambassador to China.

Join us October 10-12 at 7:00PM to learn about these great missionaries through video and field presentations. Each night will also feature a special question and answer session with one of the missionaries for those who have been called to serve in missions. Children can also participate through crafts and activities in the Junior Missions for Kids program.  On Saturday, October 13, join us and the missionaries for a time of fellowship and fun during a morning men & boys breakfast from 8:30AM to 10:30AM and during a women & girls luncheon from starting at 12:30pm! On Sunday, October 14^th, our featured missionaries will share the gospel with us in the morning and evening services at 11AM and 6PM, respectively. Faith Promise commitment cards will be collected to ascertain what God’s people plan to give by faith for the cause of world-wide missions in the upcoming year.
