The Plan of Salvation to live eternally:

God's Love is Revealed -- John 3:16

"For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

  • God loves you and all of mankind. He wants to bless your life and make it full and complete, he offers you not only an abundant life here and now, but a life which is eternal...His very own life.

Man is Sinful -- Romans 3:23

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

  • When we say, "Nobody's perfect" we are telling the truth. This is what the Bible tells us. Because of our sin, we are separated from God.

Sin has a Penalty -- Romans 6:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

  • There are two things to consider here. First of all, the consequence of sin is death and ultimately, separation from Him for all eternity. This is not a pleasant prospect, but it is a fact. The other option is to believe that God has a better plan for your life and eternity, and that he has made a way for you to be with Him.

Christ Paid the Penalty -- Romans 5:8

"But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

  • You may think that you have to lead a "good life" and do "good things" in order to please God and make Him love and accept you. This is not the case. God loves you even in your sin. He sent His own Son, Jesus, to die in your place in order to bring you to Himself.

Salvation is a FREE Gift -- Ephesians 2:8-9

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not works lest any man should boast."

  • Grace means 'undeserved favor.' God in His graciousness offers to you what you cannot ever earn or deserve. God's gift to you is free. You cannot work for or earn a gift. All you need to do is receive it. Believe with your heart that Jesus Christ died for you to provide deliverance from your sins and their consequences in your life.

You Must Receive HIM -- John 1:12

"But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name."

  • When you, by faith, receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, you become a child of God. Through prayer you can talk to God right now. Tell Him that you would like to trust in His Son, Jesus Christ. Tell Him that you believe that Jesus died in your place and paid the penalty for your sins. This makes it personal. The Christian life is a personal relationship with God through His Son. You can give yourself and your life to God right now. Would you like to pray right now and give your life to Him?...

Prayer of COMMITMENT

Repeat this prayer to yourself toward God in a humble manner:

"Father, I know that I am a sinner and that I need your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died in my place and that He paid the penalty for my sins. And that you raised Him from the dead three days later. I willingly turn from my sin and I now turn to Jesus. Right now I give myself to Him. From this moment on, I will follow and serve Him as my Lord and savior. Amen."

you have ETERNAL LIFE -- 1 John 5:12-13

"He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."

**Eternal life is yours the moment you receive Christ. Don't trust your feelings because they can change. Take God at His Word and believe His promises. on the authority of God's Word, when you receive Jesus as your Savior, you receive eternal life!
